The Kirkwood Eagles raced to a 22-point lead at halftime Saturday and dunked Little Priest Tribal College, 86-65, in an ICCAC men's basketball game at Johnson Hall.
 
The victory lifted Kirkwood into a three-way tie for the conference lead with DMACC and Iowa Lakes, all with 9-2 records in the league.


DJ Purnell
powered the Eagles (20-5) with 22 points on perfect 9-for-9  shooting from the floor and grabbed eight rebounds. Devonte ThedfordGriffen Clark, Jamal Stephenson, and Owen Coburn scored 10 points apiece.

Reynald Laurent tossed in eight 3-pointers and poured in 28 points for  Little Priest (5-17, 0-10).
