BOONE - Perfection is hard to achieve, but the Kirkwood women's basketball team has done it two years in a row.

The Eagles finished the ICCAC campaign with a perfect 14-0 record Saturday with a 70-46 victory over DMACC in Boone.

Kirkwood also breezed through the league last year with an unblemished mark on its way to the NJCAA Division II national title at 37-0.

Olivia Usher led a balanced attack with 15 points. Awal Ajak hit four 3-pointers and finished with 14 points. Megan Axcell hit three triples and had 13 points. Christmas Puok contributed 10 points and Tay Wilson dished out 10 assists.

Kirkwood won its 19th straight game and raised its overall mark to 28-3 in the final game of the regular season.

Molly Mitchell scored nine points for DMACC (20-11, 7-7).

Kirkwood will host Southwestern or Little Priest Tribal College in the quarterfinals of the regional tournament Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. at Johnson Hall.
