Bio
Andrew Lose, PT, DPT, ATC is a Physical Therapist and Athletic Trainer at Performance Therapies, serving both the Cedar Rapids clinic and the athletes at Kirkwood Community College.
Andrew earned his Athletic Training degree (2014) and Doctor of Physical Therapy degree (2016) from Marquette University. After graduating, he spent nearly six years in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area working in outpatient sports clinics, where he gained extensive experience treating active individuals and athletes. During that time, Andrew also served as a clinic director at a sports performance facility, collaborating closely with club sports programs, local colleges, and professional organizations. In 2021, he returned to the Midwest and is now happy to be setting roots with his family in the Iowa City area.
Andrew’s passion for physical therapy began in high school after working closely with his athletic trainer during the off-season. That early exposure sparked an interest in sports medicine that carried through college, where he gained hands-on experience with the Milwaukee Bucks, Washington Redskins, and multiple Marquette University athletic teams.
He is most excited about joining a collaborative, team-based environment and providing high-quality care to both clinic patients and collegiate athletes at Kirkwood. Outside of work, Andrew enjoys golfing, a great ribeye steak dinner, and recently took a ski trip to Keystone, Colorado.
