Noah King has now scored 20 points or more in five straight games for the No. 5 ranked Kirkwood Eagles. The Eagles have won six of their last seven games after losing three of their first four in the 2023 calendar year. King has provided the necessary offense for the team's success. Last week he had 21 points in a win over Rock Valley (Ill.) before scoring 20 to avenge a loss earlier in the year to NIACC. In 11 conference games, King is the second leading scorer in the conference averaging 18.8 points per game, trailing only Myles Tucker of NIACC who is putting up 21.8 points per game. Kirkwood faces Marshalltown in a non-conference affair on Wednesday before playing at Ellsworth on Feb. 11.
