Eagles Capture Crestview Fall Classic Title in Wichita
The Kirkwood Eagles men's golf team made a statement this week at the Crestview Fall Classic, held September 15–16 at Crestview Country Club in Wichita, Kansas. The Eagles battled strong regional competition and came away with the team championship, finishing at +1 overall to secure the victory.
Hall Leads the Way
Sophomore Reid Hall anchored the Eagles' performance with a steady three-round total of 3-under par, placing him 6th individually in the field. Hall carded rounds of 71, 72, and an impressive closing 70, highlighted by consistent ball-striking and clutch putting down the stretch. His ability to bounce back after a tough second round fueled Kirkwood's push to the team title.
Zoske and Roberts Deliver Consistency
The victory was sealed by the remarkable steadiness of two Kirkwood freshmen, Isaiah Zoske and Dean Roberts. Both golfers matched each other shot-for-shot across three days, each finishing even par overall and tying for 8th place individually.
Zoske opened with a sizzling 69 (-3) in round one, proving he can go low against quality competition. Roberts countered with a first-round 69 of his own, and he never wavered, keeping Kirkwood in position for the entirety of the tournament. Their balanced play provided the depth Kirkwood needed to hold off challengers like Friends University and Baker.
Statement Win for the Program
For the Kirkwood squad, the Crestview Fall Classic championship is more than just another tournament title—it's proof that this Eagles team has the talent and depth to compete with anyone in the country. Behind the leadership of Hall and the emergence of Zoske and Roberts, Kirkwood is showing the mix of veteran presence and youthful promise that makes them a dangerous contender all season long.

The Eagles will return to action at the 2025 Flyer Fall Intercollegiate Tournament, held October 6–7 at Cog Hill Country Club. With momentum on their side, Kirkwood will look to add another title to an already impressive fall campaign.
