Kirkwood took no time last week solidifying themselves as the conference's front-runner after a convincing 82-60 win over #5 Iowa Western. Now 3-0 to start conference play, the Eagles beat Iowa Central by 44 last week as well. Sophomore forward Jada Devine was the leader offensively for Kirkwood. Against Iowa Western, she was near-perfect shooting going 6 for 6 from the field, 3 for 3 from three-point land, and 6 of 7 from the free throw line -- for 21 points. Against Iowa Central, she had 20 points as well. Both, at the time, were career highs. She is averaging 12 points per game this season while shooting 55% from the field and 51% from three.
