Cade Moss was one of the best defensive players at the Division II Regional Championships. The catcher was a staple for the 2021 Region XI Champions. Kirkwood had to battle back after dropping a game and after the loss, and Moss picked it up. In the first two games of the tournament, Moss went 0-4, but after the loss, he went 7-13 with two doubles, three runs scored, and two RBI.

Tyler Tscherter

En route to a Region XI Championship, Tyler Tscherter appeared in two games of Kirkwood's five. In the two games he threw, Tscherter went 2-0 and didn't allow a run. In his first outing against DMACC, the freshman pitched two innings and only gave up one hit while walking two. In his second, he came in and struck out two in 5.1 innings of work and closed out the Region XI Championship game. In total, he walked three batters, struck out two.
